Nestled in the rolling hills of the Cotswolds, HappyKnits began in 2022 with a simple yet enduring dream:

Inspired by the charm of yesteryears and the rhythm of slow living, we set out to craft socks that feel as good as they look. The kind of pieces that make the everyday feel a little more beautiful.

Back then, we saw a gap in the world of socks: plenty of basics, but few that embraced both vintage soul and the snug embrace of premium materials. We began with florals, delicate ribs, soft wools—and a belief that the smallest things often carry the most joy.

Today, our collections continue to blend heritage textures with modern refinement:

In Portugal, generations of textile artistry help shape our cotton, wool, and Merino designs. In Inner Mongolia, the world’s finest cashmere is gathered and knit close to its origin. And in Hangzhou, known for its silk legacy, our silk-cotton blends are crafted with elegance and care.

Yet while our materials travel, our spirit remains grounded.

Every pair still begins in our Cotswolds studio—with a sketch, a colour, a story—and is wrapped and quality-checked in the UK with the same attention that shaped our first collection.
